About Me
My name is Phil Banks and I’m Custom Creative.
Having always been into computing since getting hooked on Crystal Caves in ’91, I started designing my first websites on GeoCities and went up from there.
By 2007 I had finished a Biology BSc, and had meanwhile been working for the student paper Concrete as the Chief Photographer, and producing websites for friends and family. While biology was, and still is a great interest of mine – 3 years studying it made me realise that my real passion was for the web and photography.
So in 2009 I setup Custom Creative as a new trading name of Datasmall LTD, the family business. Not having to spend as much time on the “back-end” of the business meant Custom was soon off and running.
